Abu Dhabi works towards minimising use of paper

Abu Dhabi Municipality (ADM) is stepping up its efforts towards environmental sustenance with moves to use less paper.During this time ADM recycled over 27 tonnes of waste and used paper in the last two months and took part in a ‘paperless day’ workshop, according to a Press release from the ADM on Saturday. Previously, the municipality launched several initiatives and projects to conserve the environment and achieve sustainable development.ADM aims to conserve the environment and protect the nature in keeping with its social responsibility and leading role in enhancing sustained development of the community and future generations. The waste was collected from buildings that come under the civic body for reducing the use of paper and preserving the environment from harmful materials.
