Manufacturers NewsMotorcycle manufacturers ride out quarterly resultsWhile riding is about the open road, a tank full of gas and wind in the face, this week the focus of the motorcycle world is all about the cold hard cash.Both Polaris, parent company of Victory Motorcycles and Harley-Davidson are releasing their first quarter financial results this week.On Tuesday, the Milwaukee motorcycle manufacturer is scheduled to discuss its first quarter 2010 financial results before market hours. The public is invited to participate in a webcast conference call and slide show presentation with Keith Wandell, President and CEO, and John Olin, Senior Vice President and CFO, Harley-Davidson, Inc. from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM (Central Time).Interested parties can log on and register at least ten minutes prior to the start time with the details of the call found on Harley-Davidson's website under the Investor Relations / Events & Announcements section.Although a call about financial performance and the crunching of numbers, everyday bikers may have the opportunity to learn of matters more akin to a daytime soap than a corporate compliance.
