We've got some idea of how costly and cumbersome health coverage can be in this country, but how well how do we compare with others?Steven Hill is the director of the Political Reform Program at the New America Foundation, and he's author of "Europe's Promise: Why the European Way is the Best Hope for an Insecure Age." He found that across most of the continent, European healthcare costs are lower and coverage more comprehensive than in the United States.
Hill spoke with health care leaders, advocates and activists to see how the systems work in different European nations. One thing he found was fundamental lifestyle differences contribute to the health care industry.
