Fashion Industry NewsGolden Stairs Spar to host talent fashion showA UNIQUE cultural exchange event that features a talent and fashion show will be staged at the Golden Stairs Spar in Mount Pleasant this weekend in a bid to promote youngsters in Zimbabwe.The show dubbed ‘Golden Stairs-Cultural Experience’, will see multi talented young Zimbabweans musicians and fashion designers showcasing their talents.Guest artiste like Kudzai Nyakudya, MC Chita, the ZimImagination crew and Pauline N of the Ndiriumwe Wacho fame- an independence song, are billed to perform at the event. In an interview recently, one of the organiser’s spokesperson Dereck Mpofu of Syndicate Music Factory said the aim was to promote and nurture local talent in order to compete with international standards."The purpose of this coming show is to groom young upcoming musicians and designers, and we are hoping to provide a launch pad from which they can excel", he said.Mpofu said the show was an attempt to contribute towards the growth of the country’s musical and fashion industry, which is emerging.
