GCAA sets high aviation safety standards

The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has launched an electronic audit system (Q-Pulse) to make significant contributions to aviation safety and quality in the country.The new system, which will be effective by May, is part of a unique approach to safety and security oversight at the GCAA that will help contribute to the improvement of aviation safety and security in the emirates, said a GCAA statement.
This system is poised to bridge the gap between the regulated and the regulator that has been such a source of frustration within the aviation industry worldwide, it added.Representatives from various aviation sectors in the UAE attended the launch event that was presented by the system provider, Gael Ltd and the GCAA Q-Pulse project team.Within the UAE, the GCAA regulates Civil Aviation and delivers designated aviation services with respect to safety and security to strengthen the aviation industry.
